Mark, (mrou50) wife wrote to me.
Mark's last topic was "Hey Cabo, you win" written on Feb 22, with his last response to that post on Feb 23rd. He was going to stop CABO, even though it was working as he was so miserable. Remember?
Well a few moments ago, his wife just wrote to me to announce that he passed away.
She wanted me to tell FoxHD and the rest of you, so I am. I will try to call her too. She also wanted to contact the guywho was a kindergarten teacher, do you know who that is?
Here is her email:
" It is with heavy heart that I am writing to you today. My husband Mark passed away on March 17, 2017 at home with me by his side. I need to get a (hold of) Fox etc. who supported him over the past four years. My children and I are so happy that he is not suffering anymore, but want to let people like you know how much your support meant to him. Please get a hold of them since I don't know hot wo. Take care of yourself. Patricia Roush
Here is Mark's obituary.

Note too
Mark's wife sent me a message, too, about his passing. Mark and I had been in communication over the past couple months about a request I had asked of him. If you had a chance to read his bio and some of his threads you quickly came to understand that on one side Mark was a fighter and had a tenacious attitude towards this cancer. On the other side you could see the compassion and care that he had for his lovely wife, Patricia, his family and the members here. That tenacious but compassionate attitude was the foundation of his posts.
God speed, Mark.

Took the wind out my sails
It's always hard to hear the news of a buddy's passing. Once we get to the point of joking around, telling our innermost thoughts, etc., we want all of us to feelinvincible. It's tough to admit we aren't.
My thoughts are with the family. Hugs to you.

Thanks
Jan: very sad news; he truly fought this wretched disease and had stopped Cabo for quality of life. It was not very long but it is my hope that it was a special time.
if you connect with his wife again, please let her know that we are all the richer for having known him.

I am very sad to hear about
I am very sad to hear about this. Mark was a warm and compassionate man who put others' needs and fears ahead of his own. He remained optimistic throughout all his struggles. I admired him and valued his input.
Please pass on our condolences to his wonderful family, Jan. Rest in peace, Mark. 4

Seems our program here doesn't allow me to send a link.
So in your search engine, type in Mark Rouska, Eastern Oregonian obituaries or type in ALL the words I posted and you'll get to his obituary. It is quite interesting. What a guy! RiP dear Mark.
