Marks obit is under his name , Mark Rouska,Oregon obituaries.
For some reason the link doesn't work for me.
for the obituary information for Mark; he and I exchanged some emails on Smart Patients. He was treated at the big Portland hospital and lived less than an hour from our son. We had discussed meeting there on our next visit which was in early March.
We all got the flu from our 2-year-old germinator/grandson so I never reached out.
He seems to have reached out to many of us here which really tightens this community; as a caregiver, my heart goes out to his wife and family. His obit describes the guy he came across on this site.
He shall be missed

Stub, are you the kindergarten teacher she wanted to reach?
Jan
I'm an elementary principal, but Patrice could have mistaken the two roles. Like I said in my last post, Mark and I had been in contact over the past couple months. If I am the person she was looking for, I'm glad she found me and wrote. Doesn't that just speak volumes about Mark and his wife? In his final days on this earth, he must have asked her to get hold of us and pass on a message. Thanks for your help too, Jan. It is much appreciated.

I would like to read his story but the search feature is not good. Someone have a link?
Also, is there a list of commonly used acronyms so that I don't have to ask? Mr Google tells me that CABO = Chemical Agents and Agents of Biological Origin. Is that correct?
****EDIT*** Just saw MEDIC's post with the the link......THANKS!

You're...penitent said:Mark was almost a neighbor
We lived about five miles apart. Requiescat in pace, Mark. And my condolences to the family.
Penitent
... In Hermiston?
I lived in the area briefly, in the early '90s. Great people in Eastern Oregon (and where I was introduced to cow-flop bingo and the kind of direction-giving that starts out, "You know where the junior high is? Don't go there, but..."). A lot less people in Irrigon then, but I definitely left a chunk of my heart behind there.
Looks as though he was quite the asset wherever he lived. I'm sure he'll be missed greatly in Oregon. I know I'll miss Mark online.
I won't be in Irrigon on April 8, but I'll be wearing a Hawaiian shirt (per request in the obit for those attending his service) and thinking of him, his family, his friends, and all those whose lives he's touched.
