Hello Jeff's momJeff's mom said:Stage IIIB SRC
Hi out there. My Dr. now says there's nothing left for me to do. I said "so I'm good til I'm not?" He answered "No, you'll start having symptoms soon." I asked him what symptoms I might have, and he just said that we'd talk about it later. I want to know. Does anyone have any answers? Thanks
I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis.
Please may I suggest that you open your own thread on the forum home page - CLICK ON THE FOLLOWING LINK http://csn.cancer.org/forum/128
This is a very old thread, and several of the members have passed away, so will not be able to answer you.
I look forward to seeing you post your very own thread. If you need more help doing that, I am more than willing, as are others, to help you out.
As for being told there is nothing left to do, I don't believe it. There is nothing left the day you pass away, until then, live and fight. We'll talk about that and the symptoms you may exepct, in your new thread.
I have also opened a thread for you, if that makes it easier. Here is that link, where you can post. http://csn.cancer.org/node/307508

Hi TRU,
I'm really having a hard time with using this site and with coping with my diagnosis. I am not computer literate, have never been part of a support group, and do not know what to do next. I went to the site with my new thread, but don't even know how to use it. I really appreciate your help. Your positive attitude is also very encouraging. I made arrangements today for my cremation...I guess that's not helping me feel all that much better, either.
Thank you again,
Jeff's mom
