4.5 years NED
H&N Brothers & Sisters,
I got my 4 year 6 month NED today and wished to thank all the members who offered me advice since December 2011. The names change, but the overall number of members continues to grow. I liked to think every little post or comment in the forum help the non-initiated and old-timers alike. I am continually amazed at how resilient many of you are.
Thanks,
Matt

Congratulations
Always good to hear those words verbally or printed. Since you printed them for us to read, I am very happy for you as I am always happy to hear my Surgeon tell me that I am "All Clear".
On another note, I do look at your posts as you give good advice, encouragement, and a listening ear when someone needs to vent.
My Best to You and Everyone Here

Those words never grow old, do they? NED...NED...NED....I could listen to them all week long. Congratulations, my friend.
You have been helping folks on here for a long time....always with much humor (and gawd knows we always need that!!). Thank you for sticking around.

Come on~~
I walked the journey 4 months ahead of you Matt, I'm 2 months away from the magical 5~~I go October 6th for my official word, but, the Dr has already declared me Cancer free.
So happy for you, appricative of your continued support to new and scared sufferers of this horrid disease. I check in once in a while these days, to see if someone may need a little encouragement, and to catch up with " My friends " take care

Seriously - Thank YOU
So happy to hear your news. I thank you for the suggestions and support you provide. My husband has 3 treatments left and it's a living hell over here in the Peach State. I know he's going to make it and get better because of people like you. Congratulations!

Congrats!
Great news! Thank you for all your posts!! When my husband was diagnosed (almost 2 years ago) we were helped so much by reading through this site and always appreciated your contributions. We are so grateful that this site exists and that folks that have been through the fire are willing to share their insight. Thank you again and enjoy your good news!

That's awesome news!
Matt,
I don't get on this site too often anymore since hubby is well on his way to his new normal. But I logged on tonight and was happy to see your post and just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! You're almost at the BIG 5 YEAR goalpost which is something we all look forward to. Hard to believe last year at this time the hubs was in the midst of his treatment and today he is eating and working and doing very well. You were such a big help to me when he was going through treatments and I was nothing but a great big bundle of nerves. Your words and wisdom provide such great reassurance for us and I thank you!
I wish you all the best! Keep up the good work!
Take care!
