This is a dear friend of mine.  She is beautiful and smart and found out that Pelvic Radiation Disease (PRD) is real and not yet really recognized here in the U.S.  All her research took her across the pond and I think it is worth sharing this piece with anyone who is looking for information.

    thanks for sharing this video... We really do need to keep pushing so that doctors can realize the damage that is being done to patients.. We should not be ignored as an embaressment to there cancer results... They say we are cured but at what cost..

    Very informative video. Sounds exactly how my life has been for right years now and still can't get anyone to listen. They just want to pass you on to another doctor, who passes you on to another doctor, etc.

    I just want to mention another class of patients who also suffer from zero information regarding the long term effects of pelvic radiation --  those, like myself, who had 5-6 weeks of radiation for anal cancer. This video confirms what many of us have long suspected, and have tried to educate ourselves and our doctors about. Cheers.

    Thank you for this film. I'm doing well 2.25 months after radiation (internal and external) and chemo from Cervix Cancer III. But good to know all of this to watch out for such signs. I'm back to walking 2.5 miles a day about 4 days a week.. less on other days...but anemic .. and on Iron Pills. (and have to use a dilator since I'm not in a relationship) to help with future scarring. Gained all my weight back too. Just tired from anemic and legs a bit stiff at times. (?).

    Thanks again for this film. I'm going to be vigilant to watch out for any future signs since hers did not start until 6 months after treatments ended. Doctors can be dismissive at times I guess.

     

    *7 week radiation 30 external plus 5 internal AND 6 weeks of Chemo once a week * ended July 27, 2016
