Port Removal Update
Today I get to remove the dressing and take a shower! The burning at the incision point is getting better. I am beginning to adjust to not having my "little buddy" riding on my chest just below the skin and having tubing up my neck.
I see my counselor next week. We will work on feeling comfortable with this big step. Accepting the possiblilites and not being so scared to hope.
But today I get to celebrate life. I am going to a baby shower. What better way the focus on new beginnings and life's blessings.
Blessing to you all...

Congrats
Must be a great feeling. I know mine feels sore sometimes and often generally "weird." Seems like when I turn my head I can feel it pulling. To lose those feelings and the bump on the chest is something I am looking forward to. Glad you are free from that.
