HI-I am new to this also-Your not alone and there are people on here to talk to. I know the feeling though I still feel like that sometime. I was diagoinsed in Oct 2014. I was going to have surgury but the uterian cancer had already spread-it went pretty fast. I was always very healthy and never even had the flu so this is a real blow to me also.  I started radiation right away and went through that for 3 months-it got rid of the uterian cancer cell and the cell the spread to the limp nods. But it was also in my right hip,and now spread to my lung and liver-but they are small so now after 1 complete round of chemo theres hope-I pray alot and have friends that have a prayer chain for me going. Prayer has helped me out alot and without it I would not have the attitude I have now. Keep very positive and need any type of answers or anything theres always people to listen and help-I will be your friend. I need one too.

How much strength you have, I do have cancer in my family that makes this so much more

I know how worried you must be and the shock you are in right now.  Soon all this will pass, reason be initial health problems is new to us and something we never expect to happen to us.  Why are you haveing these procedures, did you have symptoms?  

I had all these tests and they are just regular internal exams nothing to worry about.  Oh, boy, I do know the state of mind these observations throw you in, but in time you will be able to accept and move on.  We have no choice to do our best to deal with these hurdles in life.  WE do feel overwhelmed when we are suddenly confronted with life-altering circimstances such as a sudden diagnosis. try to let what you have right now sustain you until you know exactly what the situation is.

We still do not know what your outcome might be, could well turn out to be nothing. I hope I have been some form of encouragement to you.  Do your best to stay positive and wait until you get your results.  It's amazing how humans endure a multitude of problems and manage to overcome all these fears.  Be well my darlng and keep us informed.

This out!  My doctor did reassure me that my pap smear came back negative,  and that was a very good sign. So staying hopeful and optimistic.

Hi Summerlady-doing ok-went to the ER on Saturday-my perseciption didn't come in the mail-with all the new fed regulations you need that dumb piece of paper to get that patch for pain. Went there and got it but had er doc check blood pressure and stuff-she said my blood tests were normal -and yes she was shocked-but the pain in my chest has gotten better and I think that med from the last chemo is finally going away. I start my 2nd chemo treatment on Thurs and fri next week. mine lasts so long they are being realcarefull because I lost so much weight with radiation was done to 88 lbs now im at 96 but lost 3 lbs from the last chemo-How are you  doing since we last talked?

Hi I am doing okay, glad to hear you are hanging in there. I got the results of the blood tests I had done and everything is normal. 

So that is one piece of good news. Still very anxious about the biopsy,  seems to be coming up to quickly.  Trying to stay positive.  How did you get

through it when yours done? I appreciate your kind words and support So much

Any woman facing a possible diagnosis of uterine or ovarian cancer should insist on a CA-125 blood test . It is not always definitive but it is another tool in the doctor's tool box. it's a good idea to take  advantage of it.

Hi Summerlady,

I'm gathering from your description of events that a gynecological oncologist will be doing your biopsy and hysteroscopy. If so, that's great - and how it should be.

My Ob/Gyn did mine, and she did the hysteroscopy BEFORE she did the biopsy. She was certain I just had fibroids. I had a cancerous tumor. And, her messing around in there (to "zap the fibroids" her terminology) spread the cancer cells into my pelvis. My cancer surgeon told me that the cells in my pelvic fluid were the only reason I needed to do chemo, as all of my lymph nodes were clear (all 84 she took out - ouch!).

Just writing this so that you are aware of that issue.

Hoping your problem is minimal and can be taken care of easily.

I am home now from hysteroscopy and biopsy procedure.  Everything went really well.  Having some pain but that 

Is probably normal.  I should get the results later this week.  Feeling very happy its over, just hoping for good results now!
