Has anyone experienced this? What did your doctor recommend?  I just started taking Anastrozole about three weeks ago. So far I have had slight headache and nausea that have both gone away. I have noticed joint stiffness and some pain, but not bad. I am hoping to not go on another pill!

    Anastrozole

I've been on anastrozole for nearly 5 years and haven't noticed anything devastating from the drug.  Everyone is different.  Some people cant tolerate it at all.  Sounds like you'll be OK on it.  Best Wishes, Sharon

Hi, as mentioned everyone is different. I have been on anastrozole for 3yrs now. During the first three-ish months I too had mild nausea and some joint pain. I found that taking it in the evening at bed time helped, and doing some light stretches, walking, and just general physical activities helped with the joint pain. I no longer have any issues with taking it. Hope this works for you as well.
