Disappointing Oncologist Appointment

Since it is not showing on the scan, probably it is still very small or not solid enough. Hope chemo can knock it off. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

That sucks.  A piece of me wants to say redo the bloodwork to see if it was just some fluke but we all know that doesn't really happen.  One can wish though.  Sorry for the results.  Cancer monopoly?  You get out of chemo every time you pass go and instead of jail, you have surgery. 

If one can't see it, must be small, here's to chemo knocking it out quickly.

As for the job here's hoping you get it if you want it, and no, you don't have to tell them anything about your health unless you want to.  In Ohio many, many years ago, I was offered a job as long as I passed my physical.  I was then rejected after physical because I was pregnant, I sued (not for money, no money was involved but it was an excellent paying job and I wanted it, so sued for the job offer to b reinstated and getting employed), they ended up giving me the job back and I worked for 10 years before they did a massive lay off, and I was scond to last one hired and yet saw others with 15 years and up getting layed off before me, because I had become a valuable employee, so don't give up hope on job based on medical.

There is protection under various laws from involuntary disclosure...The hook is in the preemployment physical and perceptions that are generated (IMHO)...I am hopeful that there will be a sensibility in the hiring process...Just so much fear and ignorance around the "C" word.   

Yes, it would be grand if the initial chemo can knock out the disease process...Back to FOLFIRI, quite honestly, curls my toes.

OK, in Cancer Monopoly, instead of passing go one would get chemo, and, if put in jail, major surgery.

I hope you get the job! Hopefully the chemo will be easier for you this time. 

It sucks that such such good people get cancer. I wonder sometimes why murderers and really bad people usually don't get it, but good hearted people do. I'm having one of those days today, just a little ticked off that my brother is going through all of this. 

Anyway, let us know what happens. I'll be pulling for you!
