Three month scans show continued disease progression

My OVCA continues to progress. I'm dealing with both lung and liver mets. However, my dr. said he has three more drugs to try. He said if those don't work, maybe by then something else will come along. I will see a urologist on November 7. He said I will most likely have a stent put into one of my kidneys as one is not draining correctly due to enlarge lymph nodes in the area. He said I now have some activity in my lower vertebrate. He said we may consider radiation on that in the distant future should I begin to experience pain.

I have some activity in my thyroid which could eventually press against my trachea. He said should I begin to experience breathing difficulties we could look at radiation on this area. 

He did send a pathology report off to have it tested for possible effective drugs. Next Tuesday I will begin taking irinotecan. Anyone had experience with that one?

I asked him if I was a textbook OVCA case. He said, "No, you're better than a textbook case." I also told him that I had many people praying for me. He said,"They must be good at it." He's just so sweet and caring.

I hope all of you are doing well as fight this horrible disease together.

By the way, my scans are nearly always mixed. That is the case once again. I do have some node that shrank and some are now stable.
