Tomorrow's the day...
for my CT scan.....my ear is still tingling and still feels like it needs to pop. This last month has been nerve wracking, since I can never escape "the ear" reminding me that something is different this time around.
Asking for good mojo, positive thoughts, prayers.....crossed digits too, if it's not too uncomfortable. You guys know what a whack job I become at scan time. This one is the same, only a little worse.

You will do fine
I am just behind you this time. I go for scans at the end of July. You will just settle down when I start to take on the ceiling fan! I personally feel that radiation does damage to the ear canal. I have so many weird things going on in my ear and sinus areas, they rarely find anything wrong. I have changed antibiotics now for the third time for a sinus, ear infection, hopefully this medicine finally works.

Prayers and good thoughts coming your way. I've got a great feeling for you! One of my ears is not as good as it was due to rads, I wouldn't be too concerned about the ear being anything more than long term effects.
I know you will be happy when you can breathe a sigh of relief. Until then, we're all behind you!

you got it
You'll be fine! Really. The ear thing surely some late arriving temporary side effect or not even C related. Pop a few of them Atavans and you'll be good to go. This time around be the cowgal and rustle that report as soon as you can. You can get a copy in a day or two at the most. Radiologists seem to read and write pretty quick. Good luck

I just realized...
the one thing I promised myself never to do again......get a scan right before a 3 day weekend.....hopefully I'll hear something by Thursday, but if I don't I'm in for the long torturous wait I had last Labor Day.
Anyway....you guys all made me feel better.....I know I'm going in with lots of mojo, positive thoughts, and prayers. Everybody be careful if you're crossing your toes.
Bev, I'll keep the ceiling fan slowed down so you can get on when I get off .

And I'll still be thinking of you tomorrow! Just keep thinking about all the things you wanted to do during treatments... then do them tomorrow after the scan! Eat something tasty, go for a ride, see a movie... You're still here because you aren't done with life and it's not done with you, either. So get the scan out of the way and spend the time waiting for results out celebrating this time we've been given! :-)
