Thank you!!!
This week my whole family has succumbed to a nasty stomach flu. My daughter got it on Monday. She originally thought it was food poisoning and wanted to sue the restaurant chain which served her some bad nachos. We spent 8 hrs at the ER with her: 5 hrs to get in to see the doctor and another 3 getting her pumped with IV fluids and Zofran. I got the bug on Wednesday and had to reschedule my CT scan. My husband got it on Saturday and had to cancel his business trip to Vancouver. Yesterday night I got it again.
This is us.
Hopefully I will make it to the CT scan tomorrow and will be able to hold the barium drink down long enough.

The scan should be a piece of cake after all that!
Hoping the results are the best!

You can do it. Just pretend it is a fancy mixed drink.

I hope that you are feeling much better and were able to get your CT scan today. If not, I hope you are back on your feet real soon. The stomach flu and having to hanging onto the toilet is no fun. Continuing to send lots of positive energy and vibes your way.

Thank you all for the kind words and wishes
Got CT results today: 2 months into taking the trial drug there was some improvement, one of 2 pesky peritoneal nodes disappeared, second one decreased in size to 7 mm, no more ascites, everything else is normal. CA125 = 33 (from 800). Staying on the trial till the bitter end.
Life is good.

Good for you! So glad to hear your trial drug is working. You are beating me to a normal CA125, if not to NED status. I've got no clinical symptoms of disease, only minor side effects of chemo. Oncologist reported today that CA125 is down a little, to 62 & not to the normal range I was hoping for.

This is fantastic! You should see the big grin I've got on my face. Time is a precious commodity and it looks like you just made a great investment in it. I hope your stock continues to go up.
