Thinking about you, and all those currently finding themselves misplaced by those raging fires .. Please check in when possible.

Fortunately, we're fine. We were safely between two fires. We packed, but never had to leave. It's so interesting what one decides to pack. I had photos, my writing notebooks, medication, the dog. Oh, yeah, my husband:) No clothes. Nothing I could buy.

Happy that you and John are safe. Your puppy, too! Darn it looks so scary from broadcasts on local news.
