Great!!
You looked great Sindy..wishing you all the best for scans.
I also like to take lot of pictures...I have taken my husband's pictures after surgery, during IL-2 treatment( all swollen and red and puffy), cyber knife..although I deleted cyberknife one , I got scared with big machine.
Since our family lives at other end of world, so they wanted to see my husband is fit and fine during all the treatments:-)

The Il-2 was tough. I knew that. I told all friends and my wife to stay away. What pleasure would they get from seeing me that way? And pictures for those that couldn't make the event? I didn't want the attention. Wait until I feel better. I knew I would. Then be glad to see me. No pictures please. I think that this is a generational thing. I've got a smart phone and use it for nothing. A stamp and letter would be just fine. ..I think I just admitted to being "old, and over the hill." ..shoot. Now what do I do?

I'm inclinded to think it's more gender than generation. For one thing, you and I are close in age.
My hubby is fit and stong. But for hbp, he'd be the poster child for good health. In 1993, he had to have his right jaw surgically broken and rebuilt due to a congenitive defect in the growth plate. It was a big surgery and scheduled to take several hours. Our twins were little at the time and I could have used help at the hospital but he absolutely forbid me to tell anybody that he was having surgery. He doesn't like any attention on him. Never has. Drives me crazy! Thank God there weren't cell phones with cameras back then. He'd have killed me long before RCC got me. But...who do you think was taking my pic at the hospital? He was. He always does. Besides, nobody sees them but us. Other than my current profile pic on CSN, I've never posted a hospital pic on facebook or any other social media. I am a scrapbooker. You can't scrap a memory book with out pics. This last surgery (my neph), he was naughty and took pics of me in recovery, as I was waking from anesthesia. He thought it was funny. I, did not.
Hubby's no smarter with his smart phone than you are, fox. He only agreed to get an iphone because my job sent me to Ohio, indefinitely, and we wanted to have facetime. Up till then, all he had was his work phone and it's too old to be smart.
I hope you took Ron's advice and went for a ride.
Strongmind...I think it's awesome your hubby lets you take his pic, especially hospital pics! My hubby doesn't like pics period. Granted, he's mellowed soooo much in his senior years. He's all about "not sweating the small stuff" now so, he's learned to tolerate my picture taking. I think grandbabies do that to ya.
Djinnie, you conjure up quite the picture. I can just see you basking in iodine, wrapped in foil...gold foil, no less! Almost sounds like some fancy european spa day...minus the peace and serenity.
Thank you, Jojo! Cheers to many many more years!!

Oh my goodness, Ron...such talent! You could put a guitar to that and make it a country song, lol.
aamdsi, I just booked my next paper gown fitting for June 5th. I doubt it will be any fancier than the others. I'd be happy if it were any kind of fabric, anything but paper and certainly NOT see-through...Ron! Bling would be nice, tho

But "mine" were cloth, although so big they didn't seem to do much good. But at least I didn't have a "Jack" moment (Somethings gotta give movie)
Really, wish someone would design nicer, comfier, better fitting (tailored), bright patterned ones. With pockets would be nice too.
