What are your Hobbies?
Besides our never ending cleaning chores, I'd like to hear what 'interests' you may have, or what are your hobbies??? For me, besides caring for my dog, my weekend interest is kayaking and visiting new places; in the winter months, I like to scrapbook, play scrabble or online with 'words with friends'...
So, how about all of you?

I am on a Dart League that we play every Sunday evening. It is a lot of fun and can be a stress reliever, well if you do not take it to serious. I also like to travel even if it's in my own home town, like going to the ball game or the beach. I am also involved in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars so I try and volunteer when or where ever I can to help our Veterans. Lastly I am a reality TV show junkie. Yes not too many people admit that but I find these show very relaxing after a busy day of work.
I hope I have not rattle on too much!
Take Care!

Hobbies/Interests
I like to travel and see new places. Aside from Canada, when I have been in other foreign countries, I have stayed with "regular" people, not at the tourist places. I enjoy seeing what's real. I have FB friends in North and South America as well as Europe, as a result.
I like to read. I like to write. I like to dabble with technology.
I got into doing some tracing of my family roots when I was between jobs and had a lot of good luck there in that I managed to find distant relatives who are really into genealogy and made available to me a lot of infomation. I have gotten far back in my English and Norwegian roots, but I have not gotten very far with my Welsh roots yet -- just to the ancestors who came from Wales in 1870.

My favorite hobby is gardening but lately mine is not doing so well. Learning to crochet and when I need a good laugh, I watch my chickens run around they are such clowns

I love spending time with my dogs walking, training, playing and snuggling. I read a lot (my late husband said my reading habit was more expensive than a cocaine habit). Except for this year, I love gardening (really miss those fresh from the vine tomatoes).
I also sketch, paint, sculpt, carve (wood, clay and wool felting), and quilt.
I would love to say I love scrubbing floors and toilets and washing windows, but it ain't so. My grandfather used to say nothing is work if you make a game of it. Wish I could make a game of these. Boo Hoo.

It looks like you might enjoy a bit of coffee now and then too according to your profile pic...What countires have you been to? Geneology is a big thing now - I know a lot of people searching their heritage...Have you been overseas searching too?

Which Disney park do you go to? FL or CA...I've seen on commercials that they have a new cell phone out that advertises a 41 pixel camera - I want it !!! I too - love to take pictures - thus my interest in scrapbooking...as far as camping, do you tent camp or trailer? I too like to camp - there is a nice place on Lake Michigan that I go too... Thank you for your post...

It's funny that you said this in your post - I was just saying that too - I live in the midwest - and we probably had only 3 weeks of a real summer (above 90) All of June was rainy and cool, July we had the 3 weeks of summer, and now August hasn't been above 80 and at night in the low 50's...In my garden, my tomatoes have never matured, though my cucumbers have been in abudance...My flowering plants haven't done well either...blame it on the weird weather patterns...

You actually have chickens running around? Do you live on a farm? And, do they provide you eggs? As far as crocheting, are you trying to make anything in paticular - or just something you wanted to to learn? Thank you for your post....

We live near each other, OK within half a state from each other. This summer has been strange, but I love the savings on the AC bill. Not feeling so bad about cancellng my garden this year since everyone has said the growing season has been a trial.
Hope next year is better.

Love your picture - love dogs !!! Have you purchased a Kindle/Nook or do you like an actual book? I bought a Nook last year - I now get my magazines on my device...I'm trying to talk my mother into getting one (she's orders a lot of magazines) - she's not technically inclined - but so easy to use...Her response - the postal employees will go belly up without her mail...Sandy, you sound like you're also very 'artsy' - Do you show/sell your work or just for you?

What reality shows do you like to watch? Trump, survivor, bachelor/ette, or cooking/design competitions...It is a way to unwind after work...watching tv doesn't require too much thought...my likes are drams, comedies, and crime solving shows...So, a dart league - are you good at it? Yes, it can be a stress reliever - as long as the stressor isn't in your line of fire - ha, ha, ha...Thank you Jenifer for posting...

A few others have said that genealogy was their hobby too - did you get started with the website ancestory.com - or, another way...did you have an idea of your most of your heritage before starting and were there any surprises? I had a friend that got into that - she found a few surprises...both her parents died young - so, she had to get with extended family members for assistance...T.V court shows - are you a judge Judy fan - she seems hard core - ha, ha...Thank you for posting...

Another Disney Fan - have you visited any of the other parks? Sea World, Epcot, or Universal...Sea World is my favorite...WOW - Montreal !!! Do you speak French? What kind of music do you like? When I learned of my BC and all the stuff afterwards, music was a good release for me too...I have a long drive to work - so, I would get in my car and turn up the tunes - during that time, I was into 70's rock-and-roll - Now, I'm back to today's hits...I love most music except rap...Thank yo Kat for posting...
