PET Scan results are in: No Evidence of Disease, not a speck!

Last treatment was June 11, 2013.

We followed the ketogenic diet (Canton), had tonsilectomy, chemo, radiation and LOTS and LOTS of prayers and pray-ers. Not to take away from all of the helpful information gleaned from this forum (the good, bad and the ugly).

    great news!

    Excellent news and big sigh for you both! Having PET so near to end of TX seemed to work for you; most seem to wait about 12 weeks out but glad yours came back NED.

    I'm so happy for you both!  Now everybody can relax, and Ruben can continue healing without the stress of wondering on his head....and start living life again!!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mr. NED.

    I'm about to go paleo for the Whole Life Challenge in September, which I will make ketogenic as well. Here's to many more years of NED!

    Thanks Phrannie. It's great to get some good news for a change. AND, he took his first bike ride (motor) last Saturday. It was a short one, but he did it. He's progressing nicely, thank God.

    Prayers continue for everyone.

    Yep, we were expecting to see

    Yep, we were expecting to see him light up because of the radiation, and the test was so soon after his last treatment, but we were told there was nothing.."Nothing"! Hope they got the right guy!!!!!!!   JK Wink 

    I know in my heart of hearts it's gone..... and we pray gone forever, no less!
