    Sorry to hear about your sister and your mom. They are both, as well as you, are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Haven't been posting lately myself but have been keeping up some.  I'm not going anywhere either.  So sorry about your sister and your mom and will be praying for them and their families as well.  And also you and yours! 3 years ago today we found out about Charlie's recurrence and this past Friday was our 38th anniversary but my sister and nephew came down on Friday and we met some friends of mine at the old courthouse in the square and rocked out to a tribute to the Beatles by the Abbey  Road Band.  It was a free concert in a summer series they do every year and it was really good.  Had a picnic supper and everything!  Have you been able to fish much with all the rain or are you like my Daddy was as long as it was just rain and no thunder and lightening if they were biting he stayed out there!  Take care and God Bless!

    Hey John, I'm very sorry to hear about your sister's having to go into hospice, and your mom's development of Parkinson's.  With all of those issues to deal with of course you need to pull back and redirect your time and energy.  I have always found the presence of your comments, and fishey and sometimes tasty postings to be presents for us all.  Do what you need to do, and we will be here for you and with you as you handle these challenges for the loved ones in your life.  You have my heartfelt thoughts, and wishes.

    Sorry to hear about your family and will keep you and them in my prayers. My sister has had Parkinson’s for the last 10 years now. She is at the point she can’t do anything and to make it worse her husband died of a heart attack, he was her only income. Her son still lives with her and must now take over and provide for he needs.

     

    Sometimes when we think we have it bad, there is always someone who has it worse. You can count on Hondo to keep you all in prayer my friend.
