So happy for you martha...its funny how different our post treatments have been...i havent had a scan since the first 6 months after i finished treament...just "look sees" and colonoscopies.My last colonoscopy was in december and he said i didnt need to come back for 3 years...oh well..as long as we are both fine 5 years later!...Again Martha...great news!!!! hugs..alyse

Thank you so much! I hope you are doing well--I love your new pic! I agree, there are so many differences in the follow-up care that individuals get. My oncologist is definitely a scan man. I guess when I get to the point where I glow in the dark, I'll just ask him if he'll let my husband move in with him and his wife so hubs can get some sleep at night! LOL! I am hoping that the scan I just had will be the last. I don't go back to see the oncologist again until December. I am on a 6-month schedule with my colorectal doc for DRE's and anoscopes. Perhaps when we hit the 5-year mark, the schedule will be even more relaxed.
Are you playing golf? I hope so. And I hope your new hip is doing well. Take care and please don't be a stranger here--it's always good to hear from you! Hugs!

I have to go to Dr next friday for followup---the anticipation is awful, I am not on here much but I love this site for inofrmation, TY ALL for posting, I thought i was going nuts after treatment until reading all your posts--you all are lifesavers TYVM
