Asking for Prayers

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

Asking for prayers for tomorrows PET scan . I had a Ct scan a month ago and was told it was clear, then I found a lump on the top of my shoulder just above my colar bone last week so they took another look and there is "something " there so we are heading to San Antonio tomorrow for a PET scan . I will be having surgery no matter what the scan says according to my ENT and my PCP. If it is Cancer my PCP said he wants to send me to MDA for them to figure out a plan for tx . Of coarse I am scared and can not think of anything else. Thanks in advance for your prayers.

    You are in my prayers - and tucked in my pocket... I pray that it's a big ole nothing! I know you've heard that there will be surgery, but hoping they change their minds and it's good news.

    I already tucked you in my pocket, and jeans today little tight so you are in there nice and snug. I will most definitely say additional prayers for you. Hang tuff, its not cancer till they say its cancer. Think positive and keep us up dated.

    There is room in my pocket....and you'll be in good company (I think you'll make the fouth so you can play pinocle while you get the results Laughing).

    Take deep breaths and remember they are just checking on it.....chances are it is NOT cancer!!
