KRAS Mutants.....
while i have no idea what ".....a Colon Cancer GEMM-Derived Orthotopic Transplant Model for Drug Discovery and Validation" is and neither will you by reading this "abstract "-unless you already know what it is) but you might learn a little about Kras mutation in this brief synopsis

That's me (KRAS mutant), but
That's me (KRAS mutant), but at least I'm BRAF wild-type and only Grade 2. Those last 2 make my prognosis a little beter than BRAF mutant and/or Grade 3.

The Study say: "Further
The Study say: "Further analyses revealed enrichment for numerous disease-relevant biological pathways, including glucose metabolism. Functional assessment in vitro and in vivo validated this finding and highlighted the dependence of Kras mutant CRC on oncogenic signaling and on aerobic glycolysis."
Seems like giving up all sugars and most carbs was a good call, despite the insistence of my oncologist that I was making a mistake.0 -
Don't know if this will be of use:renw said:The Study say: "Further

(might want to look at "Discussion" part on this one unless you're science-literate,which i'm not; i know this one's on "wild" but maybe there's info here that might be of use anyway)
Also, maybe something of substance will result fromthis just announced collaboration between Vanderbilt and Gen Elec
