anniversary
If weather permits will be celebrating our anniversary, maybe a good steak dinner or we may just veg out and piddle around the house until we both have to return to work Wednesday! We still have lots of snow! And our Houston kids are still in town, they may be leaving tomorrow..hate to see them go but they both need some down time on their own sofas with just the two of them. It has been a wonderful Christmas!

Hubby finally got out of hospital after 11 days. Not doing great, but managing to get around. Feet & ankles so swollen, he can't get his shoes on. Water pill dosage cut by 75% to help kidneys, but his heart not good enough to pump water out of system. Will watch this carefully or he may end up back in hospital. He's so bruised up from all the tests and blood draws, he looks like he was in a dogfight and lost. Has to go to lab for another blood draw tomorrow to prepare for endocrinologist appt. next week. I need to call MDA tomorrow to get the cancer ball rolling again. So we'll just be hanging around the house. I have my annual doctor visit tomorrow to get script for BP meds. Wonder why I have high BP? LOL
Final diagnosis was Acute Renal Failure, Heart Failure, and UTI caused by contrast dye used in CT.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Luv,
Wolfen

Pepe, i spent way too much
Pepe,
i spent way too much money too, but I have discovered a new wine called Stella Rosa so all was not in vain. I will be trying to read this book that the rest of the world loves, but I have been on page 24 since October. It is called Beyond the Beautiful Flowers. It is best seller.
i had so much fun with my familY. We did karaoKe on Xmas Day. I didn't do it. I had too much wine. I am going to plan another trip to see theM soon. They have already started planning next Xmas. They want to go to Orlando Florida to visit Disneyland (or world). My true confession is I don't like anything Disney and I don't care for Florida. it does not appeal to me enough to pay for it. Shhh some may consider my anti Disney statement unAmerican lol. I am trying to convince my family to go to new York City for the next xmas. I would rather have snow, good theatre, and good museums more than palm trees and sand (not unless the beach is in New England or Europe) if I have to pay for it.
Sorry for the typos. I am still getting used to the iPhone.

Today, Friday, I will be going to my sister's to continue Christmas celebration, my niece will come back into Boston with me and we'll head to Museum of Fine Arts, dinner with a friend tomorrow night, and lunch with a group of friends in an old New England Inn on Sunday after Mass. Lovely weekend planned. Very grateful that I feel well enough to enjoy all of this. Blessings and wishes for a healthy 2013 for us all.
