Hubby finally got out of hospital after 11 days. Not doing great, but managing to get around. Feet & ankles so swollen, he can't get his shoes on. Water pill dosage cut by 75% to help kidneys, but his heart not good enough to pump water out of system. Will watch this carefully or he may end up back in hospital. He's so bruised up from all the tests and blood draws, he looks like he was in a dogfight and lost. Has to go to lab for another blood draw tomorrow to prepare for endocrinologist appt. next week. I need to call MDA tomorrow to get the cancer ball rolling again. So we'll just be hanging around the house. I have my annual doctor visit tomorrow to get script for BP meds. Wonder why I have high BP? LOL
Final diagnosis was Acute Renal Failure, Heart Failure, and UTI caused by contrast dye used in CT.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Luv,
Wolfen
We are sending our thoughts and prayers for your hubby and you! We are glad he is out of the hospital. The hospital is no place to relax. I find it wierd that Hollywood Stars go to the hospital to relax....
Always remember that you have a lot of people thinking about you.
Best Always, mike

Hope to decompress from all the explanations of radio surgery of my brain that will happen 1/7. So much follow up with doctors I just broke down today.
Plus, surprise pop in visit from my cold mother and had to have her sister pick her up - its complicated.
The weekend has to look up for me!0 -

Oh, now isn't that funny - ICathleen Mary said:Very Grateful
Today, Friday, I will be going to my sister's to continue Christmas celebration, my niece will come back into Boston with me and we'll head to Museum of Fine Arts, dinner with a friend tomorrow night, and lunch with a group of friends in an old New England Inn on Sunday after Mass. Lovely weekend planned. Very grateful that I feel well enough to enjoy all of this. Blessings and wishes for a healthy 2013 for us all.

Oh, now isn't that funny - I was planning to go into Boston to Museum of Fine Arts as well, until we got hit with the snowstorm that is. I got stuck at a friend's house last night after getting snowed in, and her husband had to dig us out with his tractor. I hope that you had a nice visit to the museum and a great dinner.
Take care,
Cynthia
