Hi All
Wanted to share some encouraging news! June 12 2011 I was diagnosed with Diffuse large b Cell lymphoma. Did 9 rounds of chemo and then ultimately had to undergo an auto stem cell transplant on June 11 2012. Today I am cancer free and for the first time in 16 months I had my first haircut! I know that its small and maybe a little vain but its an act that makes things start to feel "normal" again. Just thought that I could spread a little light hearted cheer to you all. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

Happy for you...
Hi Mike,
Yes...it certainly does feel good when things start to feel a bit more normal again, and getting a hair cut DOES feel good! So glad to hear you are doing well, and thanks for checking in. Enjoy the holidays and best wishes for continued success! Take care...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -
Yay!
Whoo hoo!
I actually let mine grow out a bit and grew a beard for a short while
when it started coming in good. I looked like a bum but enjoyed it.
My hair came out darker too and with less gray than before.
I however don't recommend chemo to get rid of gray .
So nice to hear from you, Mike. Happy holidays
to you and yours!

Hi Mike
Gotta love life and its little things that may mean nothing to other people but mean a lot to us cancer survivors!
Merry Christmas!
Sincerely,
