Newbie here
I have my good days I have my bad days - it seems more bad as I'm hitting a depressive state.
I got I have my two cats that make me smile and a wonderful supportive boyfriend and family. If it wasn't for them I think I would've given up a long time ago.
Anyhow. Hello all and I look forward to joining in on some wonderful conversation.

Pain Patches.
Hi Debbie,
You might ask your doctor about Fentanyl Patches. I use one and it make a big difference with quality of life. It slowly release the amount of medication you need. My patch is changed every 3 days. There is never having to watch the clock or start hurting because you didn't remember your pill.
There really is no point in suffering, talk with your doctor about it. I like it a lot more convenient than pills and I believe work better. I started with the lowest dosage and worked upwards until I found the right amount. They are a narcotics so you have to purchase them in a pharmacy not mail order if you have a prescription policy.
Wishing you the best,

Hello everyone and thank you for the warm welcome. I actually have tried fentanyl 75 mcg, but I broke out in hives. I think the dosage with extreme for me. When I go to the hospital this Friday I Will ask my oncologist for a lower dose.
My hospital did a little story on me. This was also before I had brain metastases to my frontal lobe which was very Recent.
