Please put my friend Kevin wife on your pray list, her name is Leslie. She has the same cancer as I but when it came back on her it went to her lungs this time. She done all the radiation, Chemo, Clinic trials and seams that nothing is working.
She is on some Alternative treatment now as doctors said there is nothing more they can do, she needs a lot of prayer
God Bless

Best,
Tim
PSALM 40: 1-3
1 I waited patiently for the Lord to help me,
and he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
and steadied me as I walked along.
3 He has given me a new song to sing,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the Lord.0 -

This particular list on this thread I do say prayers for each and every one by name and and the need(s) ...
....but just so you know.....
...you coould print off a list and at night just place your hand on the stack and say a prayer for the stack (for lack of a better explanation). I do believe that is just fine. He knows the names of each person and each request that is written, you can read it once through and then say a general prayrer over the whole list.
The reason I do each name and each request individually is I call it "task prayer"...that's when you have a specific request for an individual and their circumstances....it's my way of petition the Lord on behfalf of this person / need specifically. I so wish I could do more, but it's all I can offer.
I do have a list of persons and needs that I prayer for as a general prayer as I described above. As you said, if we did the names or needs of all we could think of it would be too immense and we are human. I do take names off the list if the need/circumstances have passed...but it always seems there is more to put on than take off.
Again, thank you very much for all your effort ...never let it be a source of "stress or burden" ...do as you can, what you can.
I figure this (my humble belief of course) what could it possibly hurt to approach the creator of the universe and all mankind, who loves us dearly and tell Him our needs. I also make it a point to thank Him for His goodness and all his blessings as well...they are too many to list in my life.....
Best,

I've told this story once (I think)...my son wanted to do "night night prayers" with me one tim and I said sure...the next night when I invited him to say them with me again he said "uhm, can't tonight dad, I'm so tired and your prayers are so long" ...LOL.
Actually I probably spend less than an hour a day with my prayer time....then some reading the Bible time on top of that...but I explained to my son..."we can spend hours in front of the tv a day and doing other things we enjoy...we can't give the good Lord some time in the day ... He agreed.
Well, obviously I'm talking too much tonight ...but it just made my day when you and Jim offered to join in as able to say prayers for those on this thread...

Tim, yes I would love to be included, in a bit of a strange place right now. Denis
You are on the list my friend:
Denis: That you find a better place than "strange". Peace in your heart.
Family: Faith and blessings as well as strength in mind (hope you did not mind I added family)
Also, if you did not know, you and my brother share the same name, except he spells his Dennis. My 2 year old is named for my brother, his name is Raylan Dennis.
First prayer for you will be tonight ....I am up late usually on Saturday nights! I am not sure of a specific need, as I went back on previous posts I see where you had a clear scan on a Monday (last week?) ..but if you have a specific request, let me know or PM me and I will pray for that (I originally thought you had recurrence of a spot in your lungs on my post, so I went back and edited my post)..sorry if I got something wrong.
Keep us posted,

NED NED NED NED NED NED for your 10/3/12 Scan!!!Tim6003 said:Done ...
Doug's wife - strength / blessings for being the caretaker
Doug - continued healing / well being for many more years
The above is how you will be on the list: Sound correct?
NOTE: I would never want to hold myself out as "strong" in faith. I had my serious weak moments in all of this, but I told myself, my daughter / sons (and my wife too) I would not ask "why me" and I didn't.
I told them I just would have to trust He knew what he was doing if or not I lived or died (and I can tell you I sure wanted to be around for my wife and kids, and still do)
Best,
Tim
Just did not want you to think you were forgotten. I know your scan is tomorrow 10/3/12.....got you tucked in the old pocket...keep us posted ...said a prayer toniht like any other night and will continue to do so...
