GGGGGGGGGRRReat!!!
I know you were worried a bit, but glad all went well. I seriously doubt they would say that the treatments weren't helping any time soon. You had so many spots before and now are down to 4 and 2 out of 4 are stable. The other two are broken and swollen. Heck, that makes it a GGGGRRREAT day! I want you to know that when our friends go in for checkups and scans it is like we are all there with you worrying and wondering. We are all in this together! Go have yourself two beers and send Gary the bill!0 -
High five Fox!
These are amazing times we live in! I always picture you on your cycle, wind blowing on your face, you wearing sunglasses, smiling, owning the road. Congrats, man.0 -
I am so relieved for you!
You know how I feel about you, brave warrior! You are my mentor and inspiration. With me and all these other wonderful people praying for you, you will not falter. I will breathe easier the rest of today, because you are getting well. And hopefully I am right behind you. Much love and admiration!

When asked why I generally drink cheap "lite" beer my response is that I really don't like beer. I just like to pee alot!......I guess the stress and "radiation fatigue" hit pretty good yesterday. I fell asleep at 6:30pm and slept till 6:30 this morning. Briefly woke up at 10 checked the "puter" and was back to sleep in minutes.0 -

Hi Fox,
I'm happy for you. Take the day off! Some Jimmy Buffett lyrics seem appropriate:
Take it all in it's as big as it seems
Count all your blessings
Remember your dreams.
And then there are the lyrics to Margaritaville!

When I see what you've been going thru-drugs with a "D" and radiation, it makes my Ct's look like a walk in the park. You must have a rod up your a.. to be able to stand up after all that. Or maybe it's the stout you pour in the top side.
Any way you cut it, you are one tough biker.
Besides the fact that you are having success, the other good news to all of us is that they are coming up with newer drugs that are effective.
How do you like being a guinea pig? The weekend is coming up. Hope it's a good one.
All best,

Who? me? That has come up before. But honestly when I was offered the chance to be part of the MDX trial, I felt more like I was given a heads up to the winning numbers to a lottery. I had a 1 in 3 chance of having the right combination. AND I WON! Now I just wonder how long this trip will last...I will have a good weekend and week to come. A bike night tomorrow, 200 mile ride planned for saturday. Weather permitting, a Volkswagen show sunday. Next week I intend to continue work on the rebuild of my 1970 VW camper. I don't want to even think about cancer next week! Maybe I'll munch on some rice cakes.0 -

Fox,
No words can describe how insperational you are to those that have to really fight RCC, not just the surgery. While I may have a few years on you for survival, your road was much more difficult.

Thanks Icemantoo. Survivors guilt or whatever, I think I've had it way too easy compared to others.0
