I had a bagel for dinner tonight, without pain until....Hondo said:Hi Pam
I am very glad to hear that, look for thing to just keep getting better and better.
Hondo
All was well until after I had finished my pastrami and cream cheese, green onion bagel sandwich.
I was letting the cat lick the pastrami off my fingers and she must have forgotten ( or maybe she really meant it) that it was a finger not a critter, and she really bit down hard!
Maybe she was overtaken by pastrami insanity....
I am so glad for you!

Maybe you had too much cream cheese in your tummy, and not enough on your finger?0 -
Brag Away
I think we have the right to brag about any milestone that comes our way, food included, since most if not all of us have missed the taste of something, and then when we do taste something we want to jump up and down..my sister will tell you that when I first tasted peanut butter again I called her screaming.0 -
I LOVE Buffets!!CivilMatt said:pass the spuds
Pam,
That does it! This was the straw that broke the camels back. I have now scheduled a trip to the LARGEST buffet in Oregon this coming Monday. I am not going for breakfast (I would if I was better), but will go for lunch (there are far more choices). The buffet is at the Spirt Mountaiin Casino and is immense. They have a zillion main courses, fruits, salads and sides, not to mention all the pies, desserts, coolies and ice-cream. I am leaving my smoothie and water bottle at the door and jumping in with both feet. I use to know how to eat and I am going to again.
Down the hatch,
Matt
Keep us posted on how the buffet went!

When I first tasted peanut butter again, I couldn't do a thing with it. My smart-a** daughter said I looked like the puppy with a caramel stuck on the roof of its mpouth. That stuff doesn't dissolve easily in milk.
