Yes my treatments are required to be given impatient and I have to stay there for about 2 weeks after each treatment and the treatment takes a week. I still have to come back to the hospital everyday for labs, nupogen shots, fluids, picc line flush, etc. Its been 3 weeks since my last dose of chemo and Im still not making any blood. The ifosfomide has wiped out my bone marrow. I have had blood and platelet transfusions and my counts are still dropping like crazy. Im so anemic I cant even talk without getting out of breath and my platelets are so low(12,000) I am covered in bruises and I have been nutropenic for weeks. I also tested positive for rhino virus so I had to deal with that at the same time..I am being admitted tomorrow again for more transfusions but they have postponed my next treatment which is what I really didnt want to do. What scares me is this was the easy treatment. I havent even started the high dose yet. Im so scared I am not going to survive it. Everytime I have done chemo I thought it just doesnt get any worse than that and then my cancer comes back and I start a new regiman that proves me wrong. I got really sick with the BEP but nothing like this. Also I have a swollen lymph node, a possible spot on my liver and a possible mass in my chest. Which really scares me because I have been having chest pain and it hurts to breathe.0 -

You've endured so much more than me. I wish I could be at your side as you go through all this scary stuff. I'm praying that things improve to allow you to continue with your treatment. Hang in there. You are a very strong person and you will get through these latest battles! It's okay to be afraid but know that we're praying for you and we're here for you in spirit!
Big hugs,

Felicia I am so sorry you have to go through this again. I know how my treatments made me feel and after hearing your story I think mine were a walk in the park conpared to you.
Please keep fighting and keep the "I will beat this attitude" That is 3/4 of the fight...
Will you have a laptop with you when you go back in? Please update when you can.
I will be praying for you as you go forth and kick caners's butt.....0 -
