Men with peritoneal mesothelioma

My husband was diagnosed with this awful cancer. It was an accidental finding from a hernia operation biopsy. He got it from 30 years ago serving in the Navy ingesting asbestos. Are there any men that have this cancer? Would like to know how you were treated for it. Thanks.

    Go to the Curemeso.org website. Mary Hesdorfer is the medical liason for the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation (MARF for short). There are monthly teleconferences for patients and caregivers. There is also a PRIVATE facebook group for Mesothelioma patients, where we discuss treatments and clinical trials. There are numerous men in the group who are currently battling this disease with very positive results. Again, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I have peritoneal mesothelioma and I have found the support from the people at MARF to be overwhelmingly fabulous. THey are NOT associated with any law firms. They are just there to support the patients and caregivers, and raise awareness of this disease.
