I'm here, but not as frequently as before. Mostly because I have a job at my church now, and I am really busy with that.
Hope you're doing okay!
*hugs*

I am still here also, as is my daughter Johnnybegood. She is still fighting the beast with a vengeance and I am still worrying for her and all of our other "family members" here. None of us have heard from Buzz for quite some time and of course we all wish him well. He was one of the first to reach out to my daughter and myself when we joined the group.
You are a special person and I hope that life is treating you well and that you are with a nice family.
Luv,

I don't post much, I'm living life hard to find the time. I do however log on and read a few post's a week. Still sadness, still bickering, but for the most part still a lot of love and hope being divvied out to those who are in need. It's a great bunch of people tho they do change. I too have not figured out what happened to Buzz and would like to know if anyone cares to share. Tom0 -
Dear Sharpy
There are still a bunch of us 'old timers' still here, but unfortunately there are a lot more new folks who have had to find their way to us.
As for Buzz, we all hope and pray that he is doing well. We too miss him.
Take care 'young one' and thanks for checking back in with the 'family'.
Hugs,
Marie who loves kitties0 -
Hi Sophie:)
Still here....
Glad all is well - I can't believe how 3 years of our lives have just gone by. You're getting older now and hope your studies are going well. You've changed since I first met you and it's a pleasure seeing where you are at now - from where you were then. I remember every word of it.
Time does not heal all wounds...but the passage of time itself, does help soften the memory and ease the transition towards another tomorrow.
Like sands through the hourglass - so go the days of our lives...
And I'm glad to see you and want to wish you nothing but the best.

I'm here too
Hello Sophie. So very glad to see you. You young lady have made such an impression on my life and I am so glad you are keeping in touch.I have a daughter too, and every time you would post back in the old days it would make me think of her and how she jumped in her car at college and drove 8 hours to be with me when I had my surgery and stayed until I could do for myself, knowing she might be screwed up for the semester. Yes, daughters DO love their Mothers.
I am SO proud of you Sophie!!
I am here a couple of times a week but I don't post a lot.Others do the posting much better than I can.
We all love you girl!

It is so good to hear from you. **** and I are still here. It has been 3.5 years. **** is still in treatment (80 something chemos) and we are living our life.
If you have some time, I know a lot of us would love to know a bit more about how you are doing.

Still hanging around, trying to catch up to ****'s chemo record! We all miss Clift and hope things are going ok for him.0 -
Hi Sophie...
Hope you're doing well.
I don't come here as often as I used to. I too think of us oldies and wonder for those of us who are still left, how others are doing. Clift was a light in my darkness as well as a ton of other people here. I think of everyone often. I often wonder if I stayed it would have helped anyone. There are many here who've experienced so much more than me. I sometimes come by just to read what's going on.0 -
I'm Still Here
Hope you are managing well. Think about your struggle and comment you for what you have been through. We are all here if you need support so don't ever hesitate to come here for some help on anything. We've all been at your age and still can support you. Glad to see your post.

Still here......Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
He was so upbeat, sad that he just disappeared. I know that we are all facing hard times, with Cancer and our families, but we can't give in to sorrow and depression.
Just can't let it happen.
God Bless us all, and keep us in good spirits and keep us around to help all those with new diagnosis!0 -
I am here...Just going
I am here...Just going through some big changes since I finished chemo a year ago. It got so hard for me to hold myself together that I got to a point where I felt I had nothing to offer anyone else. I'm feeling better the last month after some labs and correcting some deficiencies. So much better!!
I think about everyone here often how important you all are to me!
Love ya, Gail0 -
This site
I have been on and off this site since 2004 and seen many peopple come and go for a variety of reasons. My own belief is that most people come here when they need and leave when they dont but also there comes a time when people want cancer (and all its associated paraphenalia, including this site) to occupy less space in their lives. They literally want to 'move on'.I have done that myself at times but return when I feel i can contribute or need the board for myself. I think it is sad when people who can offer others a lot move on but appreciate it is them doing what is right for them.
I only remember Buzz faintly and there are so many other names that arise from time to time that trigger memories of groups that have formed in the past. I hae seen newbies become oldies. I ahev seen people chased from the site for thier views, some leaving in anger and many leave because they feel it is time for moving on. Sadly I have seen many also pass away from this site, which is always the hardest thing.
Ultimately it is the strength of this site that it simply continues to exist and is here for any one who needs it. We should avoid subgroups within it, cliques and divisions between new and old members. We are all here simply trying to find something that helps us get up each morning to continue to fight. It is the commonality that binds us, not our differences.
Sorry for the rant- I'm just feeling a little in love with this site at the moment! It really is a wonderful thing.
