I googled his screen name
I googled his screen name under Buzzard, csn. All of his posts should have come up, but didn't. If I got his screen name correct, that means he asked someone to remove his screenname and witdraw his membership. His posts should have come up using a search engine.0 -

Buzzard's profile as well as posts are still on CSN, just search under content and members. I don't think he could have his posts deleted on a search engine.0 -
Heard about Jennie...came in for a 'cuppa'....
I had faded into the background, because I felt you guys didn't need to hear about me and my many adventures anymore. I am one of the 'lucky' ones who has been given my life back...well, the life that is left...
My fav saying now is "It's not what you are left with, it's what you do with what you are left with".
For those who remember me, I'm still NED on both the rectal and the breast cancer, celebrating 6 years post any treatment (still amazing to me, after being told I would not live past 6 months...). I'm still the world traveler, just back from an 11-day Baltic cruise. I had a few days where my radiated hip gave me trouble, which led to a rather embarrassing moment in Copenhagen where I sort of collapsed in the street (happens not too frequently, thank goodness).
I send all of you big hugs...and I still see many of my old friends on Facebook...they are, for the most part, doing well...or at least getting by.
I was so saddened by the death of Jennie. She and I had just cyber talked about meeting up for a beer at the next Colonpalooza. She is a bright light still shining in my heart.

I am still here and probably will be posting for at least two months after I die!
While I certainly don't feel obligated to stay active on here, I feel an obligation to do so since I fall into a unique group. Those living with cancer as more of a nuisance (the cancer, not me although that's debatable) with steady treatments of Erbitux and yearly RFA's. All of us have something to offer especially as far as treatment option go.
One Size Doesn't Fit All...
I certainly can understand how many want to "do their time" then not look back.
Hopefully I'm doing 30+ years...I'm over 8 1/2 years into my "time" already...
I wish Buzz would check in too but I certainly can understand if he doesn't.
As dysfunctional as we, and most families often are, we do all care about each others well being I feel...

Very Nicely Said, Stevesteved said:This site
I have been on and off this site since 2004 and seen many peopple come and go for a variety of reasons. My own belief is that most people come here when they need and leave when they dont but also there comes a time when people want cancer (and all its associated paraphenalia, including this site) to occupy less space in their lives. They literally want to 'move on'.I have done that myself at times but return when I feel i can contribute or need the board for myself. I think it is sad when people who can offer others a lot move on but appreciate it is them doing what is right for them.
I only remember Buzz faintly and there are so many other names that arise from time to time that trigger memories of groups that have formed in the past. I hae seen newbies become oldies. I ahev seen people chased from the site for thier views, some leaving in anger and many leave because they feel it is time for moving on. Sadly I have seen many also pass away from this site, which is always the hardest thing.
Ultimately it is the strength of this site that it simply continues to exist and is here for any one who needs it. We should avoid subgroups within it, cliques and divisions between new and old members. We are all here simply trying to find something that helps us get up each morning to continue to fight. It is the commonality that binds us, not our differences.
Sorry for the rant- I'm just feeling a little in love with this site at the moment! It really is a wonderful thing.

Steve,

I am still around too, lurking more than posting but I am still here...

Phil,
**** and I talk about you often. We appreciate that you still come on and share. Since **** has been in active treatment most of the past 3.5 years he needs to hear about others living with cancer long term.
Aloha to you my friend.

When was the last time Buzz posted?
The way this board is set up, unless the person used their username in their posts, it won't find them.
Clift sometimes used his name and sometimes his nickname from his teen years. There's no way to easily find his last post.0 -

When was the last time Buzz posted?
The last post I found where he talked about himself was here:

This was Feb. 17 of this year.0 -
Hi Sophie!
I'm so glad that you're still on the board! I don't come here that much because i'm so active on facebook. A lot of us are. If you're there, friend me! krista d'ambroso. You may find some of the people you're looking for in my friend's list.
I'm currently NED, having my last surgery for a lung met in March of this year where they took my left lower lobe. I've recovered very nicely from that. I have a wonderful man by my side with the added bonus that he is a professional life coach, so he's keeping me happy and very active both mentally and physically. I feel healthy and blessed.
How have you been? I see a lot of old timers posting here, and it warms my heart. Too many of us have been lost, so it's nice to see that some of us do get out of this situation alive.
Lots of love!
Kathi, i love hearing about your adventures! Thank you for bringing them to fb since i'm rarely here anymore. Love you!0
