    i wonder if i have the faulty gene, anyway not had red meat for so long.

    when i get to 10 years clear, i will have a steak, until then these nuts and legumes will have to do.

    the other side issue that i have been following is reducing iron in take to slow the process of angiogenisis. its one thing my alt doc is very fussy about, so i avoid iron in supplements, but i do get some in my nuts ans foods.

    by avoiding red meat i at least minimise dietary exposure.

    i think this will have implications for late stage bowel cancers as well.

    Thank you, Andrew. Something for us to bear in mind, especially thinking about our kids. My wife was always a big beef eater but had several important risk factors, too (weight, BG and carbs, vit D, parent).
