Hunter,
So glad you got this checked out and taken care of before you ended up in the intensive care ward. Good advice.
Thanks for sharing this experience and how you got to find the facts.
Many guys doing RP can compare their symptoms with your naration and face the results. After surgery I had two drain tubes left attached during 4 days (if I can recall it) to avoid any inner infection. They dissected 9 lymph nodes so the urologist was much intouch with follow ups.
Wishing you a complete recovery.

Hunter,
Thank you for the info. Something to file away. Plenty of issues so just one more to throw on the pile. I really appreciate you taking the time to inform us. Good job.

@hunter
I'm glad you listened to what your body was telling you, saw the doc, and your expert med team caught this when they did. I wonder what type of antibiotics they have you on. Thx for sharing the info. Hope your recovery is swift and complete.
@starr
Good sleuthing (again) & thx for posting the link to the lymphocele case study. Even though your posts are infrequent and brief, I've found them to be informative and helpful. You seem to be the shinning starr that arrived quietly, almost out of nowhere, but glad to have you here. Hopefully you'll consider sharing more about your PCa journey or how PCa has touched your life. Please accept a very belated welcome to the forum.0 -

Thanks for sharing. I had rp 3 years ago and so far no side effects from the surgery other than ED. My uro told me he did nerve sparing surgery. When I asked him why I now have ED his reply was that it is difficult to miss the nerves for making an erection. Wish he had told me it was difficult up front before the surgery.

I also need steriod IV because my C reactive protien is 17.8 and normal is 0-.5. This means the bacteria is attackingg my heart. feel better now just tired.0
