    Please keep our fellow warrior Glenna M in prayer tonight, as the Lord is calling her home. Many knew her here - "putting on her big girl panties" and "her ars kicking boots". She fought a good fight, and was inspiration to everyone who read her posts. She never whined or complained. (Not that there is anything wrong with that! - Lol!)
    I pray she goes peacefully, and painlessly into the comfort of the Lords' arms. She will be sorely missed, and I only regret the miles between us prevented us from being together, but she will always be my Sister in my heart. May God bless her family, and comfort them. I will end this post as she always ended hers.

    Hi Tim

    I can always use another pray, I am doing Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation to try and get my throat to swallow again. Right now everything must go through the Peg Tube, it is hard to be able to smell and taste food but not be able to swallow it. Thanks and God bless and be with you.

    Oh my, Patty.
    I wasn't aware of Glenna's situation, and I'm so sorry to here this news. She was a super soldier in this damn fight and I too hope she passes peacefully and painlessly. It's realistic to understand that many former posters, from 3-4 years ago, have decided to refrain from posting due to many factors. I just hope that many that I haven't heard from are doing well. And yes, God please take her in your fold, and provide comfort to her family. She always wanted us to believe.

    Hondo: Will regain swallowing ability back, will gain strength and once and for all be rid of cancer / side affects

    The Bible tells us to be "like little children" .....so I too am praying and asking for all the requests on this thread to be answered ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WE EVEN ASK!!! To many in this world it seems "hoakie" or "ridiculous" to hold to such belief's. I have determined I will "cast my lot" with the Lord. He has truly been good to me and my family and this world is my temporary home anyway :)

    ..but wanted you all to know my prayers and thoughts are with you everyday...I submitted the prayer list to our local pastor for his consideration of bringing more people into the prayer group.

    please add my husband Mike. Tonsil cancer diagnosed one year ago. I am sitting in the waiting room, as I type this, while he is having his PET scan. Praying for NED. Thanks.

    Mike: Clear scans (NED) from here on out, minimal side affects post treatment.

    Hi Tim,

    My husband was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Ca Stage 3 on June 2012.
    He will start his first treatment on Aug. 7, 2012. I hope that everything is going alright and the treatment will be effective and with less side effect. I also prayed that he will be cancer free for life after his treatment.
