Kay, I don't have any experience with this to share. I hope it can be quickly sorted out and a relatively easy solution found. Let us know what the next step is. We're with you with good thoughts and prayers.

Keeping you in my thoughts.
My CT scan came back clear for lungs and blood clots.
While still having liaisons in my ribs we are going to treat my problems as muscles spasms.
Please let us know how are you doing

I hope you're feeling
I hope you're feeling better. I pray this is NOT cancer.
I've had dry cough for months. Saw a pulmonary Dr. (Onco) at sloan and I had an xray and breathing test. They suspect I have a form of asthma. On medication for a month to see if this alleviates the cough. I pray your case is a lot simpler than mine. I hope your results are as you expect them to be and that you recover very soon.
Please keep us posted when you can. We'll be here for you. Praying.
Sending you a big hug.0 -

How Awful
I am so sorry you are going through this. I am new here and I haven't even begun to go through my chemo yet (I will in about two weeks) but I can only imagine reading what you have gone through already to fight this enemy called cancer and now you think that it might be back?! My goodness, I would be scared too. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that the cancer does not(has not)come back. Hang In There.

Dad with lung problems
Kay, Of course sending prayers. Only "experience" I can share is that as Cancer patients we sometimes forget that if we didn't have cancer we could also have other health issues. My Dad had pulmonary problems, unrelated to his cancer, and we found a good Dr. that helped him. Hope you do also. Also, do you have heart issues? Sometimes shortness of breath can be a cardiac issue.0 -

If your oncologist
Kay,
If your oncologist doesn't think its cancer, then that is good. From what I have seen, typically, mets to the lungs look like cotton balls scattered over the lungs. There are exceptions I am sure. But if you trust your oncologist, go with what she plans.
