Triple Neg..
I, too, have Triple Negative bc with brain mets...had scans in Feb...showed 3 small spots to the brain...was totally blindness by that! I was completely asymptomatic....no headaches, balance problems, vision changes, nothing!! My oncologist immediately sent me to my radiation oncologist....and he put me through a complete neurological exam...passed with flying colors!...I had 10 radiation treatments that took care of the brain mets....then I started IV chemo with Avastin and Carboplatin...as my TNBC came back in my lymph nodes..it's working great!!! My tumor markers went from 98 in Feb...to 34(normal range, according to my oncologist) Oh happy days! And now I only have chemo every 3 weeks instead of every 2 weeks..TNBC is a sneaky type of BC....stay vigilant...
So glad you are on the mend and your scans were clean....Celebrate!

tomorrow i will see my onco
tomorrow i will see my onco doc. even though my CT and chest x-ray were clear I want a PET scan.
I will be undergoing a gamma knife procedure in a few weeks to treat the area in my brain where the tumor was removed. I praying it will be one and done! hopefully it didn't spread anywhere else and the chemo did it's job on the rest of my body.
I am recovering slowly but surely from the brain surgery. Ihave to keep reminding myself that there WAS a cancer spot--they took it out and there NED anywhere else in my body. I feel like crap because I had BRAIN SURGERY, not because i have cancer--that's GONE.0 -

glad to hear the treatments are working for you. What stage were you when you were DX'd? What treatment did you do?
