Party time!!!
It was amazing how many honks and thumbs up we got on the way back home.
Don't know why, but this is an incredibly emotional day...I haven't shed but a very few tears since Dx...but on the way home I balled like a baby.

toasting you with my glass of Ensure!! Happiness
Well done Phrannie... I'm proud of you getting through all this. It wasn't
that long ago you were the new girl on the block and look at you now ....a
seasoned vet.
Get through the next few weeks or so and you'll be on the road to recovery.
WAY TO GO GIRL.
God bless
Tonsil dad,

for you!!! You have earned the right to have a very emotional day! You fought hard to get to this day - even "volunteering" for 2 extra doses of liquid flu! Finally finished with this part of it and having the love and support of your wonderful family would cause anyone to be emotional. Hope you sleep well tonight and have pleasant dreams!0 -
another graduate
Phrannie,
Congratulations to you and to sticking it out to the end. I think you got enough treatment to cure me and your delightful attitude has added a spring to my step.
I propose that everyone in this club, lay down your masks and raise up you PEG Tubes, your magic mouth wash, your Stopper4, your oasis, your smoothies, your Jevity and your little spoonfuls of real food and give a big cheer to the lady of the hour our Phrannie.
Happiness your way,
Matt0 -
Congratulations!
I have been on this board such a very short time but am so proud to have been on part of this journey with you. You are grace under fire and an inspiration to us all.
When I tell my hubby he has to do something ( drink more water, do his neck exercises, eat more calories) he'll say "Why?" and I'll say "Because Phrannie said."
Wishing you a full and speedy healing. Prayers for you.

Congratulations on getting back off the bus! I'll have my fingers crossed that the next couple weeks are smooth sailing for you. Let the healing begin!
P51, what a great idea....love the cans on the bumper. We are all proud of you, you are finally at the end of the bus trip and now can relax and rest your body. And as others have said, you were "Grace Under Fire", so helpful to the others, while fighting your own battle.
Now you don't have to make that walk down that long hallway to the radiation room again !
You are done, done, done.
Rest up and let your body heal. Nap when you need to and don't feel guilty about doing it.
Wishing you a speedy recovery and back to long walks with the dog again.0 -
Thank you everyone!!CivilMatt said:rang a bell for you
Phrannie,
I rang a bell for you (real loud), it is in our backyard and I now ring it when folks in this club have completed treatment.
Best wishes,
Matt
....and Matt...thanks for the bell ringing, I've been looking for a bell somewhere at that place since someone else mentioned it. Guess they enjoy their quiet crypt-like quiet in the halls....LOL. Now I am complete .

Good on ya!
One very big hurdle jumped, and it sounds like you came through with flying colors. Despite the blood problems you mention later, you seem to have done very well with this phase of your treatment. I can understand your emotions--this is not a small thing you've accomplished.
