I have read and read the Superthread...
but I never saw a map ....
Stacey and I are up in the NW corner of Montana, on the edge of Glacier Nat'l Park...I'm in Kalsipell, and Stacey is 15 miles north of me in Whitefish (where the Big Mountain Ski area is)...
Now I'm going to go find that map, and see where all of you are!!

Where In The World Are You
I haven't updated it for awhile Keny...occasionally I'll start a new thread asking members here if they'd like to be included and to post their location (city, state and country if other than USA).
Where in the World Are You
BTW, if you look at the map with Google Earth, it's way cool....

Small world! And since there is only the 1 rad onc, eventually you will run into someone you know there. I like the oncologist, was not that thrilled with the wound care from radiation burns at the rad onc, which some of you may remember me going on (and on) about.

I have about 3 friends in Little Elm, so I'm there a lot and have been to Denton lots of times too . I'm not a native Texan - came here in Aug. 2003 from St. Louis County, MO - so 2 of my 3 kids went to Mizzou - and 1 of my kids is back there now working where we lived before and another's job took him (Mizzou grad)to KC, MO. My daughter (Mizzou grad) now lives in Ft. Myers, FL so I've been abandoned....LOL! I would LOVE to hook up with some other people going through this in the area - knew there had to be lots of them here as the Mohs surgeon and the Cancer Center are like Grand Central Station. I have great friends and family, but it's just nice to communicate with others instead going through it instead of people that have so many other things going on in their lives. Thanks!0 -

at present. But I'll be back soon. In the past three months it has been Lebanon, Mexico, Guatemala, and Ghana. Lest you think this is fun, let me dissuade you; it is work. Nevertheless, it is great to be well enough to go places and work long hours and eat. Eating is still a challenge and I still get a lot of rice and baked potato (not fries) and lunch is a particular challenge when you can't really eat bread. And I foobricate everything.
But, I have read a few of my emails from a year or so ago when I was not that long out of treatment but had to travel and work anyway. They were saying things like "Managed to have some solid food today along with soup. Had to have only two Boosts and one protein milkshake." Nowadays I get nearly all of my nutrition from real food and only supplement once in a while when schedules don't work (which can happen when you are in some other country). And I also have a Boost when I get home from playing hockey at midnight (when not in Africa, I mean) though I am just to the point where my mouth understands ice cream again. What a joy!
May you all get as well as I feel. Doug0 -

I spent some time there...Panama Canal area actually.
Not especially a treat when doing jungle survival, jungle warfare, and water borne training... They have some weird azz bugs, birds and anphiphians there..not to mention some bad azz snakes, oh and don't forget the blood sucking vampire bats.
I'm kinda partial to Central Florida LOL...
