Don't know where to start

Hi everyone, I know that Janice has been keeping you posted on what is going on. A big thank you to her. As she said I started having chest pains on Monday night & honestly thought I was having a heart attack. I was taken to the ER by ambulance. 2 nitro pills did not relieve the pain. Long story short, no heart attack, however CT scan showed large mass on my aortic arch. Saw my onc Tuesday morning, he confirmed that there is a mass the " size of a large plum" sitting on my aortic arch. He ordered a stat biopsy, however I will not be able to have it done until Friday the 16th. Radiologists & surgeons are at a medical convention & will not be back until next week. I have strict instructions to call 911 if the pain worsen"s or if there is so much as a speck of blood when I blow my nose or cough.

To say that I'm worried is an understatement, however I know that worrying isn't going to do any good right now. I can't do anything until I have the biopsy. I have decided that I'm going to enjoy every moment I can until I have the biopsy & get the results, then I'm still going to enjoy life. I'm scared but i refuse to give IBC center stage! I'm thankful for those chest pains though because without them I would have never known about this mass.

Thank you all for your prayers, positive thoughts, & positive energy. I'm leaning on you all right now. Please go with me in the 16th for the biopsy and on the 19th for the results.

    I can only imagine what you're going through right now. You have been and remain so brave and I love your attitude about refusing to let this take center stage.
    Of course I will be there on the 16th and the 19th. In the meantime I am with you in thoughts and prayers.

    You're so smart to value today! BC has taught me that now is all I have for sure. Not a bad thing but something I never really understood that before. I will continue to pray for you. I am impressed with your attitude! Fill your waiting time with great funny movies! Laughter is so healing!

    Texas girl, glad you are posting. we were nervous and I know I said a prayer for you when Boppy posted. Sorry about the Ct. praying no more issues , and a quick resolution to the problem.

    Dawne is very courageous! I could hear it in her voice. She has a strong faith too!! We happen to see the same Onc and he is great! He will take good care of her. Thank you all for all the prayers and concern for Dawne when I posted for her so glad she is on know! Dawne and I have decided that we are Christian country girls and will beat cancer down!!
