Loss of friends
Well so sorry for you and your friends of course. Seems like you are going to have an unsettling time. Grieve and celebrate your friendships. Strange how common this can be and then in other circles of friends there are no cancer victims. I do wonder how many are walking around with this and dont know it. Probably too depressing to think that way. Keep strong and keep well.0 -
Remember that it does end thier suffering. There is some consolation in that.0

of our own vulnerability based on our breast cancer diagnosis.
Yes, it sucks big time -- and cancer is not fair, or knows
no boundries.
I am sorry for the your loss of 2 friends -- in 1 week. All I have
to offer you, are hugs and prayers dear friend.
Hang on ..
Strength, Courage and Hope for a CURE.

Condolences
Dear Mary,
Please accept my deepest sympathy at the lost of your friends. You didn't say where they were with their journey with cancer. If they were stage IV there are so many ways one can go or if their cancer was the type where medical science does not have the tools to help them much. It is always a shock to hear the news of death and I am very sorry for your very tough week.
Death is part of life and is the one certainty we have along with taxes as someone once wisely stated. We react, we cry, we grieve and we do go on.
It is very difficult to accept when we ourselves are going through treatment for cancer. I learned of a death of a good friend the night after my first treatment. She died of bc mets to her liver. She had been diagnose a year earlier. It was a shock and I wondered if that would also be my fate the following year. We are not them, sometimes even when the cancer areas are the same, we always must remember that we are each unique in this universe. It was their time and it is not yours.
You have cried, grieve for a while and then go on as we all must do.
Again, may you be comforted in remembering their friendship,
Doris0 -

It's the gutter on this cancer road. Now, more than half my friends list here are gone. Whatever the good or bad of it, I have developed a "retreat" behavior when this stuff happens. Wish I had some answers.
So
Sending you big hugs!
So sorry,

thank you to ALL of my Pink Sisters. This has been one of the hardest weeks I've ever endured. I do, somehow, feel a bit guilty because I am still here. I just wish my friends were too.
Again, thank you for all your kind words and wisdom. Cancer sucks the big egg! I hate that so many are suffering and battling this disease!
I pray for each and every one of you. I ask our Lord to help us cope and give us strength.
Love to all of you ....

It's never easy to lose someone we love. And, if we lose them to cancer, I think, it makes it even that much worse since we are dealing with that crappy disease.
