Brain MRI---YEAH! Finally good news!
The MRI showed that I have "Numerous, too numerous to count lesions are identified in the
calvarium consistent with osseous metastasis." This just means that the bones in my head are covered with tumors, which we already knew, and "Nonspecific mild white matter changes most consistent with microvascular demyelination." This goes along with the possible MS/Parkenson's or small strokes, that I was aware of before being diagnosed with mets to the bones.
So overall this is great news. This means that I should be able to stick with the current chemo regimen. The last CT Scan showed the tumors in the liver, but so far, that has not had any effect on the functioning of the liver. So overall, this is good. I guess I just sleep as much as my body needs.
Thanks all of you who where there with me today! I just wish that I didn't get so claustrophobic. At least today they only had to pull me out one time, the last time I was had to get out of there 3 times.
Everyone have a great evening, it is definitely nap time now!
Hugs and Prayers,
Carol

You deserve some good news, Carol. Who'd ever think you'd be relieved that the changes are probably "only" MS of Parkinsons!
Now you can keep on keeping on with the chemo.

Carol,
My favorite part of your post is that you only needed 1 break from the MRI, instead of 3.
I always feel SO proud of myself when I'm able to make progress in overcoming something that scares me, but so often people who don't understand my fears look at me like...SO???...THAT'S your big accomplishment?
So YES, that IS a big accomplishment, Carol -- you found even more strength in the eye of the storm your body and spirit are already having to endure right now. YOU GO, GIRL!
(Now Linda, about that booty dance....Linda, Linda, Linda -- there are just some things we don't need to see....)
