First, I want to thank all of you who have offered your wisdom, support, prayers, kind words and encouragement to me during this truly horrific time in my life. You are all going through your own trials, yet you take the time out to comfort me in mine.

I hope this does not sound cliche, but I truly love each and every one of you. I consider this my second home. I do want you all to know that I'm better today. A lot of it has to do with all your posts, talks with friends and a fantastic family. Inspite of my current difficulties, I feel that I am truly a very lucky woman.

That being said, the boxing gloves are on, dear Kindred Spirits--and guess what--they're NOT PINK--THEY'RE BLACK--very affective, aggressive, mean as hell and strong. I am going to fight this miserable beast until I just can't fight anymore. I will drink motor oil if that's what it takes!

I have my PET scan on Monday and an initial appointment with my rad. onc. next Thursday. Between those appointments might be a bone biopsy.

Tomorrow, we are doing a full day of movies and then dinner out. Enough crying--this is MY life and I'm going to choose how it goes!

    never any doubt in my mind you would and do it effectively. You know we will be there on the bus for your pet scans and potnetial biopsy! I hope you enjoy the movies and dinner report back on your opinions, I saw Warhorse and liked it!

    I'm so glad to see you haven't lost your determination to fight with all you've got. All anyone has for sure is this moment but people who haven't been touched by cancer aren't as aware of it. Hope you see a funny movie. Laughter is great medicine!

    I don't care what
    color your boxing gloves are, you just put them on and fight! We are all surrounding you with support, hope, hugs and lots of love Renee!

    I'll be on the bus with you Monday as the other pink sisters will too!
