Hi Bob
I am sorry my friend that your having to go through this again. I been through it twice too and it is no fun the second time but life is still very good 6 years later after the second treatment. The biggest problem will be the Jaw, so start now stretching it everyday

Sounds familiar
I'm pretty much on the same road as you are. FWIW, my pre-radiation scan, done after induction chemo for three cycles, showed complete resolution a few days ago, so I'm starting re-irradiation soon. As this would not have been possible 15 years ago, we're both pretty lucky people.

I am well aware of how lucky we are. I lost my older brother to NPC about 18 years ago . He was treated at Sloan Kettering in NY so he got good care-for 18 years ago. Its funny to feel " lucky". My family and friends wonder why I dont complain more. A nd when I say I feel lucky they look oddly at me. But hey, I know what it could be like,I saw it in person How can I not feel lucky-even getting it twice . Im gonna live-probably,much,much better chance than my brother.
My best wishes to you.0 -

I have followed your story ,I know what you have been through. You have ,in the past, provided valuable information and advice . Even though I havent posted in a while ,I have read on a regular basis. You are right about the jaw,I already have to squash aburger down to get it in my mouth but I prefer to think about the fact that I am even eating a burger,a feat I remember doubting would ever happen again. Thanks my friend.0 -
Back together again
Hi Bob, very best of luck on this run. Keep us in the loop, and I know it's hard to do that when the mix is in your blood. These docs are getting better all the time at putting all us Hunptys back together again. Teeth first. Then buzz through, heavy on the buzz.
best, Hal0 -

Damn C-Coaster!
I've come to believe that cancer is like a frickin' roller coaster. You go up, you go down, you go up, you go down... AND EVENTUALLY END ON AN UP!!!
Sorry the coaster has taken a downward dip for you. Round number two. Ding! Time to get back into the ring and beat the crap outta this thing again. Good luck!0
