Prayers please for my firend

I've tried to get her to join us but she wasn't sure she'd fit in since she was diagnosed 4 1/2 years ago and has been doing well. To make a long sotry short, sort of, things have changed. She had a lumpectomy and rads when originally diagnosed. She has now been told that she is one of the "rare birds" whose rads caused breast cancer. She has an angio sarcoma with mets to the lung. Her mastectomy is today and since there will not be enough skin left to close the wound she will have a wound vac. In 2 weeks she gets a skin graft from her thigh and 2 weeks after that hopefully removes the wound vac. She will have surgery later for the lung and will be on chemo but she doesn't know what or how as yet. I'm going to try again to get her on the board with us but for now would you all please pray for her. She's at peace but really overwhelmed by this new development.

    Saying prayers for your friend
    So sorry to hear your friend developed cancer from her radiation treatments and all the problems she will encounter from this. I pray for everyone on this site and have just added your dear friend to my list.

    How overwhelming she must feel~ i was at just reading your post about all she has experienced. I do hope she will find her way here to all of us, it is so wonderful to bring your cares and concerns to a place where you can be surrounded by loving support and encouragement!

    Of course, I'll send prayers for your friend. She must be totally overwhelmed. We hear about those potential risks, but figure it never really happens to anyone, right? Just what they have to tell us, right?

    I hope your friend will reconsider joining the board. We have lots of support to offer even if we haven't experienced exactly what she's going through. She's definitely welcome here.

    I'm so sorry about your friend. It is unfortunate that we put all our faith on these treatments - and we should - to have them cause another problem later. I just wish there was a cure already, so that not so many people have to go through this, over and over again.

    My prayers are with your friend and her family. Please keep us posted.

    Certainly, I will add her to my prayer list. I hope you can convince her to stop by sometime. Any way you could print out these messages? Or let her read over your shoulder? I know she would be welcome with open arms.

    Yikes .. I am so sorry for all that your friend, her
    family and extended love ones must be going thru. It is so unfair --- I hate this disease -!!!
