Just had to stop by and thank everyone who helped me along.
17 months now and I am doing great! The new me is O.K. but
I am not who I used to be physically. But I am here and so happy
to have had all of you as friends. Still getting clear scans
so here's to life!

Steve - Hal61 and I are meeting up for lunch in Yosemite on Saturday, October 15th. You're invited! In fact, everybody is invited! Love to see you there.

Can't make this one but please let me know if you plan to get together again. I think that I am in the same general area as you. Deb is in the foothills and I am in the valley, I believe Hal is 1 hour south of me. (I went to Fresno State--Go Bulldogs!)0 -

I am quite envious of anyone who lives near Yosemite. But have a good time
anyway. How are you doing? Sorry a Facebook person I am not. Love ya Deb!

Hey Steve, great to hear you are doing so well. Really enjoy reading updates of this nature. Good on ya mate. Cheers.
Jimbo
Just wanted to say Howdy and glad you are doing well. You were my test method for how I was doing, I too am 17 months out and have had 2 clear PETS. I too am doing great, but still 20 lbs lighter than I was. I hope we both continue to get better and catch up with Skiffin and Sweets soon. They are a few months ahead of us, and then look forward to as many years of health as many of the others here, i.e. Sash!
Keep enjoying life and rejoice in it !!!
All the best,
Steve0 -
Good to "See" You
As soon as I saw your "Just Checking In" Header, I just knew the news was good. Nice to see your pic again - you guys look swell. I'm 18 months past chemo rads and am also doing well. got my first clear scans in April. Like you and many others, I still have some improvements to make on the physical front, but also like you and many others, I still have lots of reason to celebrate life. Keep celebrating.0 -
GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU
I have been wondering where you were and how you are doing.
I assume you returned to work in the masonry industry??
Glad to hear all is well.

Steve,
I was just asking about you awhile back. Glad to see you're doing well! As you know, 17 months out myself, and sounds pretty similar to you. Doing well and enjoying life!
Good to see your post!

Congratulations Steve, We
Congratulations Steve, We are happy you are doing well. It gives us hope to hear how well everyone is doing. Connie is 6 months post treatment and everything is looking up! She still has her peg tube but we have been eating at Golden Corral everyday so she can try a little bit of everything. LIFE IS GOOD, Homer & Connie0 -
