Cancerversary! How many years everyone?

Hi all,
I was so busy this week, I forgot to post...but the day was in my thoughts all day long. Thursday (July 28) was my TWO year cancerversary! I am so thankful that I can post this, and hope to experience many more cancerversaries!
Yay for all of us and our cancerversary years....How many years are you all out from diagnosis? I would like to celebrate not only mine, but everyone's survivor years!

    So very grateful
    and thankful to God, it's been 5 going on 6. Still on Tamoxifen but scheduled to stop in October...then no more drugs.

    Congratulation Sybil! That's wonderful to hear.

    I met a gal at the National Cancer Surivors Day local celebration who is a 48-year survivor. That's something to work for!

    I have a friend that was diagnosed in 1982. We went to see her last weekend to celebrate her mother's 90th birthday!

    I celebrated my 25th cancerversary (no, it's not a typo) on July 3rd.
    I hope and pray the same for all my beautiful sisters and brothers here.

    I celebrated one year in May since being dx. I finished treatment in Feb 2011. So far I'm doing ok on Arimidex. Hope to be cancer free forever...

    This past February was 24
    This past February was 24 years! I am still fighting (bone mets after a 22 year remission), but I am still here!

    I celebrated my 2nd year
    I celebrated my 2nd year survivorship anniversary this past June 2011. I am on Tamoxifen and am moving forward.

    You are just ahead of me - my 2 year cancerversary will be October 28 and I plan to celebrate in Hershey Pa with as many pink sisters as I can!

    I started counting on the day of my last chemo infusion. This coming Thurs. August 4th will be ONE YEAR. Yay!

    I was diagnosed 9 months ago. Almost finished with treatment,
    3 more days of radiation then I sart tamoxifen on Aug 9th. right now I'm trying to type with two itchy burnt boobs getting in my way, one implant with a bad burn from rads and the other healing from a breast reduction a week ago...aaahhh but at least im on my way! Congrats to all you ladies for getting to where you are! I know its not easy but We keep on keeping on! I feel like I've been a science exp....I'll be glad to have my body back as my own! AMEN!

    For me
    it is 1 year & 4 months since being dx'd. I am on Femara and doing great! Congrats to all of the survivors on this board.
