Cancer does Suck!
Try to save all your eating for the 2 days before chemo! Just kidding, but you should be able to eat the foods you love those days. This will be done before you know it.
Feeling down is allowed, no body, with or with out cancer, is up all the time. You will get your fight back tomorrow. Till friday, eat all your favorites!
Cindy
On a side note: During chemo I was talking to my daughter (28) about how much I hate chemo. I don't usually use the word "hate" because it is such a strong word. She told me that she loves chemo. I almost reacted badly to the comment till she explained that anything that kept me around, she loved! After that, chemo wasn't so bad......0 -
Not much to say, you kind of hit it all
Chemo sucks, cancer sucks, and it doesn't get easier because you have done it before!
But mostly what sticks out is the positive attitude and knowing that you prevailed on the other cancers, no reason why this one should be any different.
I know that for the 10 months before my last diagnosis, we were on a search and destroy mission removing atypical tumors. Amazing though we must have lives we love, because we just keep fighting.
Prayers and hugs for your long journey.

but not as much as cancer. Every night in my gratitude prayers, I thank God for my doctors, nurses, chemo and radiation for stomping out that cancer. Today I visited my surgeon. It's been 18 months (I was Stage 3C invasive ductal ca with 10+ nodes) and last week I had an MRI, mammo and ultrasound that all said, "No evidence of malignancy." My doctor and I were all smiles. You can do this and you will soon be smiling again.
Sending a ton of positive energy your way for your treatment tomorrow.

Thanks everyone!!!
I feel much better today after a nice pasta dinner with a glass of wine and an outdoor concert in Bend, and then coming in and reading all your supportive responses!
I am trying to "embrace" chemo too and call it my friend, since it is what keeps us alive....and that wonder drug herceptin!!! I made a nice binder with all my info in it and put a picture of my girls and the caption "This is why I chemo"!! Figured it would help get me through the rough days!!
I'm sure I'll be on here regularly now....so thanks all, and nice to meet all of you!!!0 -

What a great idea of the binder with your girls pics on it! I am sure it will get you thru any rough days, IF, you have some.
Good luck to you and please keep updating us on how you do.

I hate to capitalize the word - cancer, as it gives the word too much power -- and cancer controls so much of our lives during our fight.
Sue -- Best of luck, continue to be positive, and post often - we are here for you 24/7.
Strength, Courage and Hope.

I am totally disgusted with cancer. Actually, I have more choice words for it than that. I hate that idea that my cancer may come back and I'll have to take chem all over again. Then I realize, I'd still do it again. That does not make it pleasant...and on top of not being able to taste my food, I didn't even lose weight!!! Now that's not fair.
