Peritoneal message board
It is lovely to have this messaging board so that all the people with either PPC or secondary Peritoneal Cancer can go to for specific help, support and advice.
I understand that it will run on a trial basis so the administrators can gauge how popular it is before they let it run permantly. So therefore, please use it.
I have met so many lovely ladies on the OVCA boards and will continue to visit and post and see how you are all doing.
Thanks to everyone who lobbied for it.

Thanks to YOU, Tina!
Great! There are a few people on the stomach cancer discussion board that really have peritoneal cancer so I'll alert them.
Now, everyone, what are the different treatments you are under for your particular kind of peritoneal cancer (primary and/or secondary). Mine is secondary peritoneal cancer following gallbladder cancer (gallbladder and its cancer gone as well as part of liver so all that is left are nodules (malignant) on the peritoneum) and I'm being treated with what is called FOLFOXFIRI (oxaliplatin/irenotecan/leuco something or rather/5FU every 2 weeks. Some nasty side effects that we've been able to control.

Tina...
Well done. It's great that they responded and it might make a big difference to people who have this disease to have it acknowledged in its own right.
