She has her wings, she is at peace. May the healing begin for those who were there to help her put them on.

Hugs
Lisa, I really wasn't ready to see your post; even though with keeping up with your posts I knew it was near. I am so sorry. I know that you probably feel numb. When my mom passed away, I kinda of went through the motions. It really didn't hit me until one day I wanted to tell her something and I picked up the phone to call her. I then realized ... I couldn't.
Lisa, please take care of yourself. I wish that we could all be there to surround you and be with you.
Hugs to you my friend,

You have my most sincere condolences. Please know that love never dies and that your mom will be with you every time you make a recipe that she made, or use a phrase she used regularly, every time you handle her things or return to places you once visited with her. When your grief is fresh these reminders are so painful; but eventually these are the things that will be the way you will keep your mother's love alive forever. One day these things that remind you of her will make you smile and feel her nearness. ((((hugs))))0 -
So Sorry
Hi Lisa,
'So sorry to hear your news. What a difficult journey you have gone through. You did the best job for your Mom that could have been done. Thank you for sharing with us.
I lost my Mom a few weeks ago after 10 years of caregiving in various forms. She did not have ovarian, but a host of medical issues. I am still kind of numb.
Take care, Ginny0 -

I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know what to say that won't sound tired or cliche... you were so loving and devoted, she was blessed to have an angel for a daughter. My thoughts and prayers with you and your family and friends during this difficult time. I don't really have any sage advice for you, just one word, time......
Hugs and prayers,

Time
When my mother passed away from cancer, I had been with her for the last 2 months. I remember the feelings were so intense and varied. After awhile I realized that remembering the many lovely/funny/interesting moments we had, even in her last days, was quite comforting. I don't think I properly mourned her until about 10 months later, after I finished dealing with the zillion items in settling her estate.
I wish you peaceful memories in the future. Your mom was lucky to have you.0 -

Your mom is at peace now. Thank you for all of your heartwarming and sometimes funny posts. Go be with your family now and grieve together and know your mom will always be watching over you and giving you signs when she is there. I hate this ###### disease!!. Woman should not be dying from it, I wish and pray for a cure...val0 -
I am so very sorry. I know
I am so very sorry. I know your heart is heavy, but you did the most wonderful thing. You were with her, you loved her and you stood strong even when it was hard to do so.
*HUGS* You are an inspiration to me and the path I am just starting with my mother. I just hope I can be as strong, funny and in the accepting of what I cannot change. I am so afraid. Its a hard walk for anyone to take.
Take care of you.0
