I understand
I had my 95% of my tongue removed and replaced with parts from my thigh. Also 2 neck disections with nodes removed. Along with chemo and radiation. I have had 1 operation to shape my tongue so i can now swallow. I have 1 more operation scheduled for July or August to finish shaping my tongue and then i should be done. Welcome to the forums you will find alot of good people with good information on the discuss forums. Good luck on your fight and stay strong. David0 -

Welcome to our forum warrior...
We are glad you are still here and fighting as well...."Never Give Up"...
Best,
John
Hi john,I've always been a fighter have never given up on anything,i came into this world with no chance of survival, survived three serious road accidents an industrial explosion in which my mate was killed and i made it out, blood clots in my body and a host of potential situations that luck played a part in it because of the work I use to do,so this cancer is another chapter and i draw strength from past predicaments.0
